Cement Your Legacy

Every year, hundreds of Lebanon students use the district’s outdoor athletic complex on Miller Road. Thousands of fans from the ECC and the Greater Cincinnati community sit in our stands, visit our concession areas, and use our facilities. Our sports venues are often the first impression many visitors have of Lebanon Schools.

Lebanon Schools are consistently ranked as one of the best districts in the state, offering an incredible education at a lower cost per student than most similarly-sized districts. Our athletic programs have offered similar success. In recent years, our softball team has advanced to the Final Four five times. Our track and cross country teams have sent numerous competitors to the state championships. In the last five years, we’ve seen multiple teams win conference championships, and we’ve celebrated dozens of athletes signing to continue their athletic careers at the next level.

Our athletic mission remains strong: To promote the highest standard of sportsmanship while developing athletes of character who perform at their highest levels. Our students are leaders, not just on the playing fields of competition, but in life.

Make a Gift

The Legacy Project is a collaborative capital improvement project that will have a lasting impact on our Warrior student-athletes and the Lebanon community. The first phase is already underway and includes upgrades to the home stands at James VanDeGrift Stadium and the installation of turf at Lebanon High School for soccer and lacrosse practice and competition.

With the needs and safety of our student-athletes in mind, the future plans for Lebanon athletics facilities renovation projects have expanded to encompass other critical athletic facility improvements:

  • Upgrades and additions at James VanDeGrift Stadium to possibly include: new restrooms, new locker rooms, new concessions, visitor bleacher upgrades.

  • In addition, ball diamond transformations at the junior high and high school campuses are planned, to ensure teams have access to four adequate fields with appropriate ancillary resources for freshman, JV and varsity teams.

  • Additional upgrades planned at the high school campus include locker room space, a band tower, a press box, restrooms, adequate storage, additional usable grass space for practice areas, and more.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps propel this important initiative.
